Members Code of Conduct
All Community Councillors, and Co-opted Members are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct for Councillors adopted by their respective Councils. This Code aligns with the mandatory standards set by the Model Code of Conduct issued by the National Assembly for Wales.
Each Member is personally responsible for understanding their obligations under the Code and for conducting themselves in a manner that upholds the high standards expected of them.

If you have concerns about a Councillor’s behaviour, these should be raised with the Monitoring Officer as the first point of contact. They can be contacted viw the Rhondda Cynon Taf website.
If you want to make a formal complaint that a Councillor may have breached the Code of Conduct, you need to address the complaint to the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales:
