The Council is made up of members. Five councillors cover the Upper Ward and seven councillors cover the Lower Ward.
Any vacancies on the council are advertised to the community, if an election is not triggered, new members may be co-opted into the council.
Each year, a Chairman and a Vice-chairman are elected to the council.
